Introduction
Burch Field Research Seminars offer some of the most adventurous, hands-on, off-campus educational experiences in the world. They showcase the relationship between faculty research and undergraduate education by combining traditional course work with active, experiential learning. A changing roster of seminars is offered each year in destinations both foreign and domestic.
Honors Study Abroad programs offer Carolina undergraduates the opportunity to live and study in some of the world's great cities. Like Burch Field Research Seminars, most of these programs are led by UNC faculty. Students also take courses with distinguished faculty from some of the host countries' most renowned universities.
Both Burch Field Research Seminars and Honors Study Abroad programs offer UNC graded credit that satisfies perspective and major requirements.
