Eligibility

Any UNC undergraduate in good standing is eligible to apply to join a Burch Field Research Seminar.

Any UNC student with a 3.0 or above is eligible to apply to participate in an Honors Study Abroad program.

How to Apply

Applications for Burch Field Research Seminars and Honors Study Abroad programs are processed through the Study Abroad Office. To begin filling out an application, click on the program links on the home page of this site, which will transfer you to the appropriate program description pages. After your application has been submitted, the Director of the Burch programs and/or the faculty member leading your chosen program may contact you for an interview.

Limited scholarship aid is available for the Burch Field Research Seminars and Honors Study Abroad programs.
